Bio:
I obtained my Masters (1994) and Ph.D (1998) in Electrical and Computer Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University.
My dissertation was titled “Cardiac Motion Estimation from Tagged MR Images”, and my thesis advisor was Dr. Jerry L. Prince.
After graduating, I joined GE Medical Systems as a Scientist, working on MRI Image Processing while being located at Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, MD.
I am currently a Senior Scientist with GE, with responsibilities in medical image processing.
I am married to Ruchi, and we have a four-year old daughter named Meha.
